After the mid season break Ute racing returns to Lakeside on the 29/30th July.
John Young goes into round 3 as the production class leader after the first 2 rounds earlier this year. Scott Tamati is right in the battle in 2nd place in the AU rent a ute. We expect our regular competitors, Troy Montgomerie and Craig Kasper to take the fight up to the front runners. Also look out for some old faces returning to the production class and we expect some great racing over the weekend.
In The V8’s we have the young gun AJ Gealy chasing his first championship in the utes. AJ had a hard round last time at the lake and we expect him to return fired up for the win. Brenden Exner took the round win last time at lakeside and is always hard to beat at this venue. The VE commodore will return to take the fight to the fords.
