Lakeside Park Raceway

The Ute Racing Qld championship will be decided at the last round for the year at Lakeside Park November 26/27th.

The final round will be a double championship point round so every race will be critical for all drivers to bank as many points as possible for the 2022 championship.

Production Utes

The production ute class has 3 drivers that can take out the win for the year. Current point leader Danny Ford in the T&G Sand & Gravel BA Falcon goes into the final round as the favorite however Danny did have some mechanical issues last round at Qld Raceway and needs to finish every race up the front to secure the title.

Behind Danny will be the Au Falcon of Peter Clarke and the VU Commodore of Craig Kasper both of these drivers could steal the title from Danny if they have a good round. The key will be to finish every race with no damage or issues, the driver that can do this will take out the championship.

The dark horse for the 3rd place will be John Young that still mathematically could secure 3rd place if things full into place on the weekend. Lakeside always throws a few curve balls out for the drivers so anything can happen.

V8 Utes

In the V8 Class it is a 2-horse race with a classic Holden V Ford battle between Robert Mcmahon and Brendan Exner.

Last time at this venue the Ford was too good for the Maloo HSV VE Holden. The HSV will not give up without a fight and will have a point to prove at this track.

Brendan will go into the round as points leader but again with double points on offer the championship is still very much alive.

It will be huge weekend of racing with the champions to be crowned on the Sunday.
